Ennis-Flint Announces Acquisition of Weissker

Ennis-Flint’s acquisition of Weissker business adds glass bead manufacturing to its product portfolio

Thomasville, NC, September 11, 2014 -- Ennis-Flint, the world’s largest manufacturer and supplier of pavement marking materials, announced today the acquisition of the North American glass bead manufacturing business from Weissker Manufacturing, LLC, a Weissker Group company, widely recognized globally for their expertise in research, manufacturing, and performance. This announcement comes on the heels of other recent merger and acquisition news from Ennis-Flint. These transactions along with major capital investments further solidifies Ennis-Flint’s dedication to serving and leading the market toward improved shared roadway user networks with the most comprehensive line of pavement marking materials and electronic control products for the traffic safety, access, and rail industries.
